QUIZZES

Back when I was running it was 19. The year of selling my house, packing and moving has been stressful: stopped running and I (doh) got back eating a lot of sweets so tree - thanks for reminding me to check this, I need to buy a scale.
It's about 21 right now.

Thanks.
I was hoping nobody would think posting a BMI Calculator
was annoying...or weird.
Or obsessed. lol
Just worthy of interest.

Having had an eating disorder, I have to be careful not to over-control. Hope you are well and balanced with where you 'are' on the scale.

I have a bmi of: 25.4

MI Categories:

Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5–24.9
Overweight = 25–29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

I don't think I am overweight??
I think this is a very simplistic diagnostic tool, and potentially very dangerous for people with a tendency to obsess on their weight. It doesn't take in enough variables to give an accurate indication of a healthy weight.

Gotcha covered: BMI & BMR, Lean Weight & Body Fat, Body Ratios

As long as your waist to hip ratio isn't 1.0+ or your fat isn't 25%+, I wouldn't worry too much about having a high BMI.

My current BMI is 21.1 and I've got roughly 22% fat. I was miserable when it kept hovering between 16-18. Earlier this year I got focused on trying to build up my muscle again so I went about collecting various formulas to help me keep an eye on it. (Got 10 extra pounds of muscle now, squee!) Also had a side goal of trying to get my overall weight up because I was sick and tired of being underweight and light-headed all the time. That was a real pain in the butt, but I think I'm finally up in a normal weight range for good. Or for now, anyway. I lose weight like a man. @_@

It is indeed very simplistic.
Only one scale for a dimorphic species.
Four tenths 'over' seems non-significant.
A method that also took bone mass into account
would be useful.

AsheSkyler, if "Earlier this year I got focused on trying to build up my muscle again so I went about collecting various formulas to help me keep an eye on it." they are good, can you share some of the formulas?

By formulas, you mean techniques right?
Not...stuff to mix up and drink?

Aye, all math stuff. Not yard clippings mixed in a blender with wild goose eggs, or whatever disturbing thing it was I heard some people made smoothies out of. :p

Links to where I gathered my formulas together and provided a few links to various articles others could read in more depth on some subjects.

I had a tuna shake once (tuna+milk in a blender). It's way better in sandwich form.
eeeuw***
I made a perch pizza.
That didn't exactly work out.

Tuna & green beans from a can are ok dumped in a bowl together.
For some reason my aunt gets practically hysterical with disgust over the idea.
I don't know why.

***There is reason to believe it should have been ok enough, though.
Like 'tuna bisque'? cream of tuna?

After all, my breakfast for a long time was canned green beans, mixed with
peanut butter, nutritional yeast, and 6 raisins.

So.....eeeeuw is hardly an appropriate response from me. :)

Here is a quiz consisting of 4 questions, which
will tell you whether you have much aptitude for being a 'professional.'*****
Fun tests - Are you qualified to be a professional?

Hint: It is a cumulative sort of 'test.' The answer to one question
should help you answer the next one.

The 'test' is a short illustration of what types of thinking are required
to be a 'professional.'

****For some reason it reminds me of the 'knock knock' joke of
"Interrupting Cow," the same degree of profundity.

My grandfather put me through that test so many times when I was growing up...

Another one was this:
You are driving a bus.

A kid gets on at the next stop from the street.

Three kids get on at the next stop at the bottom of a hill.

Four kids and a sock puppet get on next at a dirt driveway.

A set of twins gets on the bus from a big house.

A grandma sees five grandchildren get on the bus.

Now, who's driving the bus?

Sexuality quiz...I saw many references to this same quiz.
So here it is. [It may duplicate another post someplace. IDK]
Seems lightweight.
The Asexuality Quiz | BrainFall.com

Item 2:
What does your wrist measure?

Me:
Left = 5 1/8 inches
Right = 5 1/4 inches

According to the first, I'm asexual.

The spirit animal quiz suggested I identified with the owl, hawk, and snake. The totem one gave me the tiger.

So I've been doing these tests. Aspie tests

My results are consistent with those already diagnosed with aspergers. My assessment and diagnosis will be in February 2016.

I was surprised with the results of two tests used for judging someone's feelings by their facial expressions or voice tones. I thought my results would be closer to a neurotypical person. My results were the same as for those diagnosed with ASD.

For much of life, I've either been in denial or been good at managing ASD symptoms or just about muddled through.

Thanks for the recent link.
I haven't been there in a couple years.
They have freshened up the page since then.
I did the Two-Factor Imagination Test this morning.
Got 32.
Typical ASD score for female = 39.

People act like I am joking when I say I don't have much imagination.
Anything I imagine is mostly intentional.

Aspie tests
Regarding the format of the Two-Factor Imagination Test...
Negative: Too wide for me. Uncomfortable & awkward to use.
Positive points: They did use alternate shading bands and
there were only 20 questions.

I usually shrink my browser for a lot of tests in case the layout is fluid instead of static. It helps on tests like this, especially where they had something going wrong with the absolutely positioned grey bar.

45 = low spontaneous imagination
46 to 59 = proportionate spontaneous/controlled imagination
60 = high spontaneous imagination

TFIS: 54.
I may tend to be in control of my imagination, but we get along just fine. :)
I wonder what'll happen if I retake it and take into consideration sleeping dreams? Hrm.... I might need to go track down a lucid dreamer test instead!

I've done the first five on AspieTests.org. I haven't tried the video or audio files yet.

I found the most non-political political party quiz I've ever seen. All the questions are stuff like "where do you want to vacation" and "what's your favorite pet". It says I'm "independent".

Survley is often amusingly out-of-left-field in terms of how it classifies people according to their answers to its irrelevant questions. Here's what they said about me:

You Are
Liberal
You have faith in the system and believe that the government can help make things right.

Wow! I'm an anarchist and a dues-paying member of the Democratic Socialists of America. Now that's what I call faith in the system. Not!
