Exhausting mentally and emotionally

Ok I took offence at this! I am very independent, I work full time, has grown up kids and two grandchildren, I have good friends and a social life, my partner is definitely not my only source of happiness! If he was our relationship would never have lasted a year! I was simply having a bad night! That is allowed we all have them it doesn't make me childish or clingy it just makes me human!!

AGREED. :) And there is NOTHING wrong with you wanting to spend time with your significant other/romantic partner.

I think the prior comments were just made in relation to the entire discussion which had kind of meandered all around ... so not actually directed towards you specifically. (Just my own read of the discussion.)
