Owls (especially British varieties)- I love their mysterious and eerie night calls in the woods near my house at night.
Domestic cats-cute, affectionate and amusing rolled into one.
My goldfish which are very relaxing to watch and look after.

Delphinidae for being intelligent, sexual, friendly to humans. But I can't choose them as my only favourite, there are too many species to choose from and i'm very indecisive.

As a couple of others have posted, I like owls too. They are creepy though.

I like Meerkats. One of my favourite places to go is Cotswold Wildlife Park. I can just sit and watch the Meerkats for hours. I find the way they organise themselves interesting :)

The wall there is pretty low, and they are located in a little sand-filled bunker in the ground - one day when I was there, one of them figured out that it could jump high enough to get out. I first spotted it digging around in the flower beds and told a member of staff, they chased it back in. then it jumped up on the wall right in front of me, ran along the wall and then jumped off and ran across the path into a flower bed a few feet away. At this point, people had noticed that a Meerkat was escaping and a crowd had gathered. The staff had to tell people to back off and they tried to catch it in a net but it ran back into the enclosure really fast. So they tried catching it in the net from inside the enclosure, but all the other Meerkats started attacking the net. It was brilliant :D Eventually they managed to catch the culprit and they shut it in the indoor part so it was behind the glass. I felt sorry for it, all isolated and trying to find a way out. The other Meerkats were trying to dig through the thing that was blocking the entrance to the indoor part of the enclosure, to get it out :p

That was a good day :p
