Playing music in your head

Chronic for me, and usually my own since I write lyrics often. Sometimes that of a friend (lots of musicians for friends) or, a remix of one of mine someone did. My life wouldn't be normal, I'd have to investigate what was wrong with me if there weren't background music in my head.

Actually it's pretty common among musicians, and, apparently those with ASD too. I wonder how many of my musical friends just haven't told me they have ASD? I know some do, but I'd bet more do that haven't told me.

One song will get on a constant replay, sometimes for days at a time. If it gets annoying then to change it I have to listen to music for a while out in the real world. I start with the song that's stuck, and then "erase" it with listening to lots of other songs.
