I have an estranged 15 yo daughter that I believe may also have Asperger's. I would like to send her a book written from the perspective of a girl teenager. Can anyone make any recommendations? I found one book called Asperger's on the Inside which was rated highly, but when I read the excerpt, I thought it was awful (sorry if anyone knows this author). It seems most of the reviews were paid reviews.

Can anyone recommend one?

Edited to say: I think I am going to try Attwood's Asperger's and Girls book. It isn't the best rated but if anyone can recommend any other's that would be great!

I just reviewed Kaitlyn Smith's Take It From the Expert: Sixteen Years of Living on the Autism Spectrum (at 16)

I have not yet read Keara Farnan's I Only See in Black and White (at 23) but it seems to be well-regarded.

Keara was also one of the autistic individuals providing their perspectives for the free online program Autism & Neurodiversity in the Workplace developed by the University of British Columbia's (UBC) Centre for Interdisciplinary Research & Collaboration in Autism (CIRCA).

Nobody Nowhere by Donna Williams is excellent. My old art therapist recommended it and it did help me understand how autism affected me.

hii! i got recommended aspergirls which is all about girls on the spectrum :))
