Is Asperger's a learning disability? Yes or no?

I do not think that autism is a learning disability, but that is not to say that autistic people can not have a learning disability. I just believe that autism does not cause learning a disability. I have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (DSM IV 299.80) and I do not believe that I have a learning disability. I have always been able to figure out anything I set my mind to. It is my understanding that autistic people process information differently than NT's do. In some ways better and in some ways not as well.

I've struggled in all jobs and courses I've done, concerns have been raised and training extended or failed probation periods,, so for me yes. And then get told "but you really are inteligent"?! Ffs really!

If you have done well on IQ tests, it is probably due to a deficit in social instinct, not that of intelligence. That has certainly happened with me.
