Favourite Non-Disney/Non-Pixar Animated Movies...

I love Watership Down. The first time I watched it I was too young to understand the English but loved it anyway, and I kept watching every now and then. We had the movie on VHS and I'd watch it every weekend when I woke up.
Yeah, that's a good one.

Kinda proves that animation isn't necessarily a kiddie thing, as well. It's kinda dark, has a lot of adult themes, and it's very graphic in places - and... that cat is creepy! Although when I was growing up, that movie was ok for kids, I have an older cousin who was always watching it and watched it with me a few times when I was very young and it never bothered me, but they put it on TV as a family movie on easter sunday a couple of years ago and... well... lots of angry parents took to social media to RAGE about how awful it was to expose their kids to it.

People get enraged over everything these days. I fell out of trees, watched tons of scary movies, saw naked ladies on tv, and was none the worse for wear. The only thing that traumatized me is other people.
