Current book(s) you're reading?

Ravenous, by Eve Elliot.

Fictional account of teens with eating disorders.

Anorexia is easier for me to understand than bulimia.
The idea of insulating yourself from emotions/problems
by gorging and then puking doesn't seems as "reasonable"
to me as gaining control by limiting food intake.

are you reading all 3 books?

Yes. I have a newer English translation published by Penguin, which has all three in one book. This is it:

Translated by Tiina Nunnally.

I'm not very far, but it's beautiful. I like how the author is able to control the emotions of each scene so well. It's very alive.

I just finished All You Need is Love: the Beatles in Their Own Words by Peter Brown and Steven Gaines.

Now reading Testimony: the Memoirs of Dmitri Shostakovich, as related to and edited by Solomon Volkov.

I'm re-reading the Warriors series by Erin Hunter (pseudonym), for the first time in its English original. Feeling a bit awkward after all the "adult" books in this thread, but they're awesome. If anyone likes cats and fantasy, I can recommend them.

For stimulation, "Lila" by Robert Persig. Before sleep, "The Far Side Gallery" by Gary Larson.
