Remember the TECH term 'Plug and Play?'

With the aggravation of spending too much of our time in getting TECH. to operate correctly, the term 'Plug and Play' increasingly means 'Plug and Pray' and 'Plug and....Pay!'

I associate it with those bargain bin game things that come with a small number of games pre-installed and are sometimes just a controller with flash storage and basic hardware.
