Hello,

I am studying Level 2 in Autism Awareness after completing Level 2 in Counselling Skills and Supporting Children's Mental Health and Well-being online at Open University,

I live on my own in rented accommodation and don't have a network of people to talk to about what I am studying and to discuss the topics.

I mainly study to keep myself busy and help with future employment.

I have other certificates and diplomas from different education providers that I am hoping I can use to gain a degree or enough to qualify me for a career in the field or employment.

I am self-diagnosed with ASD.

I am friendly and able to communicate well enough to get by in my day-to-day life.

If you have any questions or would like to speak more then please do respond below or in chat.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Hello and welcome. Hope you find what you’re looking for here. Let us know if you need any help figuring things out.

Thank you Rodafina, I will post topics of discussion as I study further in the field.
Sounds good. You may also enjoy some of our less academic threads… Places where we discuss our lived experiences and talk about thoughts and feelings related to autism. One of the benefits of the forum is all of the anecdotal evidence of how people experience autism.
