How long did it take for you to accept you were autistic?

I can't remember....I'm not good with times and dates.

I think i accepted the label easily enough....accepting the actual condition that the label is supposed to describe seems to be an ongoing process.

I never had a period of not accepting it. It was a dawning of realisation for me.
