You Know You’re Autistic When…

When you'd rather spend the $5 to replace something you lost rather than confront your messy storage.

Or worse yet when you literally do not remember what you own unless it's right in front of you.
 
...when you can't tell if someone dislikes you, is interested in you, or is bored with what you are saying. So then you are lonely and can’t find anyone to listen.
 
...when you rabbit trail and go on tangents that are irrelevant or change the subject because you don't understand what the other person is saying to you.
 
...when normal back and forth conversation is hard for you and you talk too soon, interrupt, and can't take turns talking.
 
...when you forget to say good morning or hello and just start into your topic because you hate small talk and superficial convos and also because you forget social niceties.
