What are your current obsessions?

I've become interested in autopsies as of recently--morbid, yes, but it's fascinating for me. :) Also, I've become addicted to vampires as of lately ("Interview With The Vampire," anyone? :D ), and I enjoy collecting bookmarks as well.

Autopsies are interesting and vampires are always tasty ;)

I know a gal who is realizing her lifelong dream and attending mortician's school. They're dead; why not try and learn some stuff from 'em?

I have obesessions, not more than one at a time but also one at any time of my life. My current obsession is "Come Again" by Katie Jewels. I listen to it any time I listen to music. This will probably last for a couple of weeks.

Currently...

  • My Little Pony
  • Happy Hardcore
  • Amphetamines + Drugs (However not taking them, more their effects)
  • Transhumanism
  • Internet Culture
  • Adventure Time
  • Gender Identity

Not really un obsession in the way they use to be for me, but right now I'm mostly watching Supernatural.
And I do that 'cause I don't feel like doing anything/can't figure out anything else to do (even stuff I know I need to do).
But if someone asked me what the episodes was about I wouldn't be able to answer, 'cause I don't remember.
I just sit there looking without taking it in really... well at least I do my daily workouts.

My vinyl collection. I inherited a fair bit from my parents, plus I've started buying it again. I've been cleaning them all day and then listening to them. If I'm not careful I'll soon be trawling eBay looking for older (pre-digital) pressings of albums I'd like to own. I'm also trying to fix my turntable; the platter is a little wobbly. I took it off to see if there was anything I could do about it, but I saw nothing. It could be the belt, but that doesn't seem likely, but I might change it out just to see what happens.

Ever ongoing interest: how to behave socially, without succumbing to peer pressure.

To those forum members here who know me personally, this should not be a surprise.........

After spending awhile obsessing over live-action movies (mostly those starring Johnny Depp) and animated series (MLP and Adventure Time), and then after that going without an interest for what felt like a really long time, I have finally gone back to my old, pretty much lifelong interest in anime. Right now I'm into Black Butler and Blue Exorcist. They're both dark without being depressing, which seems to be the type of media I was most consistently drawn to (back when Johnny Depp movies were my obsession, all of my favorites were directed by Tim Burton, and a couple of years before that, I was really into the anime/manga Hellsing and Trinity Blood).

I like action movies, I like Pirates of the Caribbean (though I like SimCity more), and I like MLP too...

Wow, we have similar interests, eh?

Awesome! :)

My current obsessions are Heroes, I am writing 2 fan novels for it, although at the moment it has taken a back seat to NBC's Community and the shows actress Gillian Jacobs. For fun I decided to rewrite the season 4 episodes as well as write my own to expanded the 13 episodes to 24. I've finished 2 episodes so far, one rewrite and one original. My Script-Fic | My fan scripts for existing shows.

My current obsession is, ditzy as it is, Harry Potter fanfiction. Thankfully, though, I'm a very picky reader, so I don't find very many fics that meet my standards. But when I do, it's usually very, very good.

I was obsessed with certain characters right after the last movie came out, and then that faded away and it wasn't much of anything for a while, and then I discovered fanfiction....

Have you read Methods of Rationality? I adore that one.

My current obsessions are Icelandic and chess.

My current obsession: Skype. Especially people on a little Skype group I joined.

I really feel happy building this chat group, because it's full of the most awesome people in AC and Spectrumville (another forum I joined). Oh, not to forget my best non-AC/SV Aspie best friend, too! :D

If you're on Skype, do let the group owner know. :)

He's at timngsimatp2011

My current (and newly discovered thanks to my very aspie bavarian assistant ~or what it's now called in english, a person that helps me with daily things~) obsession is King Ludvig II of Bavaria (or Bayern as it's called in both german and swedish). That guy was amazing! I recognize much of myself in him when he was younger and apparently AS-specialists thinks he could have had AS.
King Ludwig II - Television Tropes & Idioms

He was the one who build the famous Neuschwanstein, the castle that was the inspiration to the Disney-castle (and a lot of other castles as well)

Not really un obsession in the way they use to be for me, but right now I'm mostly watching Supernatural.

Last month I started watching Dragon Ball Kai to remember the old times, and I couldn't stop watching anymore. I just stopped when I was tired of watching, but I watched almost every day at least 3 episodes. Now it is over, and I'm watching Ghost in the Shell, but I'm not so obsessed of finish it as I was with DBK.
