Rant/Long post: Disability Benefit Assessment (UK)

I went through the same this year here in Newfoundland, Canada. At 1st I was denied as they considered Autism a grey area (Because inability to drive, live on my own, tie my shoes is normal). Anyway Mom appealed the decision and I am receiving some benefits. I won't say what I'm getting but I'll get more a month from this than I'd get working part time 15 hrs. a week for minimum wage.
