Haitian Mythology Experts?

It involves a Creepypasta. Is there REALLY a demon called Aparat?
Depends on what you mean by "really". I don't believe in the existence of demons whatsoever.
But there is no Aparat in Haitian folklore, a quick Google search shows you the only mentions of Aparat are in connection to a creepypasta story. Really, google is your friend.

That would seem to depend on what you mean by
"REALLY."

"Aparat (website) is one of the video sharing services
in Iran which began tentatively on February 13, 2010, and,
officially, two months later on April 13, 2011"
Aparat - Wikipedia

In Polish the word:
aparat m inan (diminutive aparacik)

  1. apparatus (device)
  2. (usually pejorative) apparatus (system of institutions)
  3. photographic camera
  4. mobile phone, handset
  5. (dentistry, informal) braces
aparat - Wiktionary

This contains a summary of the silly story.
CREEPYPASTA: Does the Bizarre Board Game “RAP RAT” Have a Horrifying History?

Whether people use the word "Aparat" as a name for a
character seems likely. The reality of such a being
is not so likely.

Creepypastas really are just there as the modern age version of telling a ghost story around a campfire. Even if there are some out there with a few small things cherry picked from other places, doesn't make them any less made up.

People write these things with the intention of creeping people out and hopefully getting others to share them. It's literally in the name 'creepypasta':

From Urban Dictionary

"Essentially internet horror stories or a myth passed around other sites, to frighten readers and viewers. The word, "Creepypasta" comes from the term, "copypasta". An internet slang term for a block of text that gets copied and pasted from website to website. Creepypastas are sometimes are supplemented with pictures, audio or video footage related to the story. Typically with gory, distorted or, otherwise, shocking content.
Suicidemouse.avi was the grandfather of all lost episodes. It showed Mickey Mouse walking down a endless street with random piano keys playing in the background. The video gets more distorted and music turns static. See for yourself.

Also, Sonic.exe is a very well known Creepypasta. There is even a clone of the game to download. Although it's it well done, the clone will never have the same fear factor as the story did.

Lastly, Slender Man was introduced in 2009 in the Something Awful forums. Slender Man was not well know untill 2012 when Mark Hadley released, "Slender:The Eight Pages".

"Aparat", probably not. Though "Apparatchik" is another matter in the world of political science.

Describing Soviet Russia's "party apparatus". Sometimes used in a cynical manner disparaging communist party bureaucrats who were more concerned with protocol than ideology. A term I learned of some 41 years ago.

Demons? Well, that's a bit much for most any bureaucrat. Or not. :p
