Does memorization count?

It counts for something, but is not the same
as a written out item.

I can't read your memory.

If the rules were written out, in English, I would
be able to read them. Assuming you posted
them somewhere, that is.

So sorry you couldn't have been with me on the Metrolink in St. Louis a year and a half ago. Sat down next to this guy who happened to have an Amtrak schedule in his hand. He starts telling me the history of the bridge we were crossing and then talking about the railroad. He was a retired BNSF employee killing some time riding the Metrolink while waiting for his train to wherever he was going. He was great to talk to and he even gave me his Amtrak schedule. I like trains myself because I like travel. I don't pay attention to engines and that sort. I just like tracks and watching trains, riding them, looking at route maps. Don't give up, there are people out there who will talk trains, and when you happen to sit down next to one of these people while actually riding a train it's a lot of fun. He knew so much, it was great.
