I've got a lead for internet access, it's a regional provider that uses cell phone towers to relay internet data. It's either that or satellite. Satellite is far more expensive though.

The provider I'm looking at is called Digital Path and is based in Chico. They are in business specifically to serve areas in north California that are away from the main fiber optic cables with wireless internet.
The area where my land is has suddenly acquired its own HOA. :( The guy who runs it lives in Torrance, CA, of all places. Lovely.

I wrote the letter (two whole typed pages!) last night, made copies of what I was sent, and will send it when the post office opens at 9am to PacifiCorp in Portland. There are several other active landowners in that valley, including the guy who owns grazing rights and a couple people who train horses there. I suspect this loser will quickly find himself in a courtroom.

Interfering with agriculture? Oh that will be fun to watch go down in court.

The jury will, of course, consist mainly of ranchers-the economy is essentially cows and tourism.

Portland is hell on earth-you apparently moved downtown in time for Antifa to smash the area to bits. And then there were the fires that almost consumed the entire tri-met area. A sudden wind change would have meant a staggering death toll, much more than 1906 San Francisco.

Yes, I will have to have filters for water intended for drinking/cooking. I am aware that animals can poop in streams and creeks. I will have to be VERY cautious as to water sources.

The water in the Klamath River is undrinkable due to decades of farm runoff pollution. The river regularly gets "toxic algae" blooms that can kill. There's a reason Yreka's water supply comes from a tributary stream and not the river. There is another tributary stream near my land.

The only pain I have is from having my jaw propped open for 2 and a half hours. Also, I was stuck in the same position in the chair for that long. I was dizzy when I got up, went to bed early, then slept for a long time.

Yep, @Brent FINALLY got around to approving my VIP.
My mama is in Lodi, Calif., having her other knee replaced. She had one knee done a few months ago.
It's been 25 months since I last visited my land. I really want out of the cities. *sigh*

Nope, I was last up there in May 2019 to stake out the boundaries of the lot. Then I wasn't able to go back in the fall due to the fires. Then covid hit. In 2021 I wanted to build a shed and live in that, but my mom was skeptical, so I bought the toy hauler instead. I've been gradually doing work in the trailer with my uncle's help. I was hoping to go up in June, but there is a record breaking heat wave here now.

The toy hauler is parked in the back of my mom's house here in Sacramento. The surroundings you see on the Trailer Prince website is the back of mom's property. You can see the back of the main house and some of the granny flat I live in.

The initial photos were taken at the previous owner's home in Waterford, but everything else was taken here.
Fellow Oregonian, and prepper for the worst. I like what you are doing with your trailer. Your website is very nice too.
I am just about out of money. All future trailer work will be funded directly from my SSI check. Maybe September?

It's amazing how many cons live in my state. You really have to ignore people here.
Installing electrical outlets is a real pain in the butt, and back, and hands... It's mentally tiring too.
