Sensitive Topic I can't take it anymore! I'm thinking of committing suicide

Another thing that may help you is to allow you negative thoughts. Things that you observe to be undesirable. And then try to voice them in loving way that loves yourself and the person you are voicing it towards. A good video on that is this one Negative Thoughts Are Good! - Teal Swan - She is...

Sensitive Topic I can't take it anymore! I'm thinking of committing suicide

I totally know how you feel. I was on escitalopram for 2 years until a "real" doctor did a real anamnesis and recommended me to actually avoid gluten, which I did and within 2 weeks I was better, while still being on the medication. What also helped is that at the same time I started going to...

How to connect to your true self?

How to connect to your true self ? As an autist (Aspergers) I'm well able to be with myself in my head. However being with myself in my heart is much more pleasant. And as through the heart we are all connected it makes you part of a universal community. For now 9 Months I have been taking...

    Aspergers and Ayahuasca

True. Less distractions to go around. Unless you decide to be distracted.

    Aspergers and Ayahuasca

The speech delay I noticed recently by comparing when others respond vs when I don't respond. It's like I have to consciously decide to respond. Like there is some kind of block there. I'm aware of this block and am working on "getting around it" it's pretty persistent though. :( Where others...

    Aspergers and Ayahuasca

A Conversation With “Grandmother” I just read this interesting post that describes an experience with ayahuasca aka. the grandmother. Autism (I know Aspergers is not exactly autism) is also mentioned. The quote is "A similar analogy can be made of autistic children who from a spiritual...

Why do NT people enjoy playing seemingly boring and childish group activities?

Look up the term banter. Look up the term teasing. Essentially those games allow you to interact. It's like a new social space that is created ad hoc with participants in it.

    Painting myself into a corner

"The truth" is your truth and subjective. Not being blunt helps give the other person space and a place to save face. It's nice to have found an online community with people that understand what I'm saying. Still the part in me that rejects myself and others is something that I need to be able...

    Painting myself into a corner

It used to not bother me either, because I was busy being distracted either by work or entertainment at home. I have reduced that now also with the intention of meditating vs numbing my mind. I'm on the path of being more emotionally connected to myself and hopefully also to others in the future.

    Painting myself into a corner

Well after being diagnosed in January only I'm in the process of reviewing myself and my behaviour. One thing I have noticed is the lack of subtlety. I may notice it from others but usually put it off as a sign of weakness. Then I overshoot coming of too strong, resulting in the other person...

What subtype of autistic are you?

Passive and aloof. Aloof mostly because of self defence.

    Noisy People at Work.

Not sure what else to say. But all of the above. Being social sucks. Why can't people just shut up and just stare into their computers? Damn. Who invented speech anyway. Totally useless.

    Aspies and lack of emotion

I didn't know that I had a problem until I was formally diagnosed with aspbergers a few months ago. All my life I thought everybody else was weird. Now I'm coming more to grips me n what exactly is going on inside me. My default thing to do around people is still to disassociate myself and...

    The Passage of Time

It is actually moving faster. However the thing with time is, it doesn't really exist. @Divrom's observation about using a clock in order to track time is pretty relevant. For if you have nothing to count time or know that time has passed you wouldn't know. What we commonly refer to as time is...
