    Just a question

Welcome to you. :) There's only one that's been a problem and I've got them blocked or ignored. I like all of the people I have interacted with on here except for one of course.

    Just a question

Has anyone been having any discussion issues with anyone on the forum? I seemed to have had a big issue with someone (no names, no screen names) and I was spoken to like a child. I am 50-plus years old and I'm not about to take any of that.

Rules for eating or arranging food?

I'm not an Aspie but don't you dare give me a tomato whole or sliced. I will use ketchup for fries or hot dogs. I'll eat tomato soup from the can. I'll eat spaghetti sauce but the tomato is liquid by that point. If a sit-down restaurant was to put a slice of tomato on my sandwich (or on the...

Rules for eating or arranging food?

Not really about food but drinking something while eating. My daughter ate some 'temperature hot' on a few occasions and we're telling her to drink something - water, soda, milk - to cool down her mouth but she refused to do it. She's always had this thing about eating her meal first before...

    Are there any songs that...

Music has always been a getaway for me. If there was a way to listen to music 24-7 and no other noise, I'd take it. As a parent, there is one particular song that hits me in the feels every time I hear it. It's an oldie but a goodie country song called 'What a Difference You Made in My Life'...

Movies that you feel didn't need sequels...

I'd like to see them play some part in the movie. Even if it's just a cameo appearance.

Movies that you feel didn't need sequels...

Hasn't there been talk of redoing Mary Poppins? How can you redo such a classic?

Movies that you feel didn't need sequels...

Poltergeist did not need two sequels. Still scares me when I watch it.

Movies that you feel didn't need sequels...

It's not out yet but Top Gun doesn't need a sequel although it's in the works. Grease (70s) did not need a sequel and it was BAD!!!!! What I really don't like is remakes of great movies - Footloose, Dirty Dancing, the list could go on and on.

    Fidget Spinners?

I've heard that some people can combat stress using the Fidget Spinner?

    Concerns

Are there types of people you can't stand to be around? My daughter will not go anywhere where there are small children and she barely goes anywhere there is a crowd. The small children are screamers when they want something. She is also concerned that there's no one there for her for any...

    Hi. New here.

There aren't many support groups in our general area. There is one place that young women can join to speak with each other about anything and everything. Unfortunately the price is outrageous and they're looking to get her a 'scholarship.' We live in North Carolina and the closest major...

    Hi. New here.

I hope you don't mind a parent joining the forum. My daughter is on the spectrum and on this site. Sometimes I feel like I'm at the end of my rope trying to help her. She seems to be at the end of her own rope with so many issues. She cries and asks me why she doesn't have any friends and...
