This is what you hear me explain in this video content, the differences between "Social Influence" and "Social Selection", therefore I will have this written down so you could read through the differences just in case you don't watch YouTube.

SOCIAL INFLUENCE
- Social Influence is when you congregate with others with the same level of interest as yours.
- Or alternately, you become more your own friends for example if your best friend is into Heavy Metal, you're likely to engage with the music or the scene just because your best friend likes Heavy Metal.
- Maybe your friends are involved in surfing, riding waves and dress like surfies and grow their hair like surfies, you might take up surfing just because those friends of yours are engaged with surfing.
- Perhaps you engage in drinking parties just because it's your friends who are into alcohol consumption.
- You get into comic collecting, your best friend are into Marvel Comics instead of DC Comics which puts you into influence that you engage with Marvel characters like "Hulk", "Spiderman" or "Ironman" instead of "Batman" or "Superman".

SOCIAL SELECTION
- You may dislike a person just for being on herion even if the person shares the same interest as you.
- You dislike another person who's at the same level interest as you maybe perhaps that the person use force of violence if he\she don't get their way with you.
- That other person may not have the same level interest as you, you become friends with this person just for being cool.
- It's likely you will reject individuals who have bad influences and accept others with good and caring influences.
- You will perhaps be friends with everyone who have the same level interest as you have.
