while i realize this may be a taboo subject something has been bothering me for a little while and i would like to share.

according to christianity, humans were made by god in 'his' image, given that homosexuals are BORN that way according to scientific research what does that mean ? does 'god' hate 'himself'? :D

why is it taboo. basically if you scrutinize the tales and details presented by the writings to which you refer that's the conclusion you're able to draw. endless contradictions and ludicrous levels of conflict with the egalitarian ideal (treating the lowest member of society equal to the most important) presented by the jesus christ character

it may have been taboo on this forum because its about religion and such convosations normally spark conflict. i'll be honest and say i dont believe in religion because regardless of the original message a) sociaty and people change over time so what might have been right then won't be now, b) the original texts have to be translated so there is chance of mistakes c) since the first bible different parts of the original and full texts have been used to give a different over all message but rulers.

it bothers me that things people can't help are looked down upon simply because of that one difference. this is how we are all born and have to deal with it in our own heads and dont need others belittling us for such things like aspergers,

while i know of a lot of people that believe in the bible's teachings i personally believe its a great work of fiction that people take too far.

btw this thread is open to any other questions that people may have and want to discuss with the forum (rant over)
