Are we all sensitive to noise?(partial rant)

Yes, its really, really common with ASD. It is something you have to come up with a strategy to deal with, as you can never totally avoid noisy situations. There are likely some things already written on it if you search. Personnally I have it to a lesser degree. My number 1 choice is avoid it/leave it. Its easier to explain why you left then why you blew up. If I can't escape I try distraction. That could be getting involved in a conversation or playing a video game in the far reaches of the environment.
