Spring and Summer Un-Plans

Daylight Savings Time is upon is and spring is almost here. It is the second day in a row of beautiful, sunny, warm and fairly dry weather. In the coming months I am looking forward to:

  • Going barefoot again
  • Opening my windows and blasting garage rock
  • Peeing outside
  • Bonfires
  • Illicit late-night swimming
  • Long hikes with my dog
  • Actually being able to be cheerful for long periods of time

I know many of you do not share my love of spring and summer. You guys are weird.

Weird and proud of it :p

Looking at things listed; most doesn't look bad to me. If only it would be less of a problem to start with.

I will not walk barefoot. I prefer to live my life without gangreen, lol.Blasting music with windows open will probably get people to complain (and cops to come over). Peeing outside will get you fined an absurd amount here. Bonfires ditto. And swimming... only in designated areas.

Long hikes with a dog (if I had one) would be perfectly fine. The other... can't really comment on that.

I don't hate the summer at all. I like spring as well. But I do like summer nights a lot more. If anything the cold in winter is depressing, lol.

Oh, of course I love summer nights! And I should clarify--most of these things are made possible by the fact that I live in the woods without any neighbors to speak of (or at least neighbors that are usually around). I have a feeling I would not be able to get away with much of this stuff if I lived in a more populated area.

I think that I would love to live where you do, wyverary! It sounds splendid. I used to live far out in the country and wish that I still did. I miss it so! Employment opportunities are rather slim though.
