PDA Diagnosis

Back in the day PDA meant smooching in uniform and was against regulations.

Now it seems to mostly mean Personnal Digial Assistant.

But you mean something different.

It's weird. I seem to be like that about some things but most not like that in others. It seems to depend on whether I am all in with something.

Hello and welcome to the forum @Winddove. Hope you find some kindred spirits here. I don't know that I show any demand avoidance. I am just learning about it now.

I know we had it mentioned by a couple of therapists for one of my kids, for one or two of their 'stronger' behaviours, but when we actually investigated it it turns out to be highly debilitating. Bit shocked that the therapists were so blasé about suggesting it TBH. I've heard it mentioned a few times since like "oh yeah, I think I might have PDA" but to my understanding it's not a "might have" type of thing. Not met anyone who has been unfortunate to have it as of yet.
