Thanks for your message. If you look at the survey it is more about how you have experienced services and how restrictions may have affected your quality of life. I will include the information sheet here for yourself and anyone else who would like to know more. You can also email me. My email is on the poster. I appreciate your opinion and concern.
Thanks

Information Sheet
Thank you for considering to participate in this research project. The purpose of this document is to explain to you what the study is about and what your participation would involve, to enable you to make an informed choice.
As part of my Masters Research Project in the University of Limerick, I am carrying out a study on the mental health and wellbeing of Autistic Young Adults during the pandemic.
What is the study about?
The aim of this study is to inform our understanding of the impact of service disruption during the pandemic on the mental health and wellbeing for Autistic Young Adults. We also hope to identify what supports are most needed at this time.
What will I have to do?
Should you choose to participate, you will be asked to complete an online questionnaire which will include questions about your Autism diagnosis, your experience with services and your overall wellbeing. The questionnaire will take approx. 15 minutes to complete.
What are the benefits?
You will be participating in an Autistic led research project among a large community of Autistic Young Adults. Your views and responses will be used to inform service provision and educate health practitioners in the future.
What are the risks?
You might decide that you don’t want to answer a question. If this happens, you do not have to answer any question you do not wish to.
What if I become distressed?
The aim of the survey is not to cause distress, and this rarely happens from completing such surveys. However, if you do, we will signpost you to several support organisations.
