Migraines

Does anyone know if a higher proportion of aspies get migraine headaches than the NT population? Do you know of any studies done about this? Thanks.

Found this on www.medhelp.org:

"To my knowledge, and based on a brief search of the medical literature, there is not a definitive link between autistic spectrum and migraine. Some have theorized a link based on some common underlying mechanisms, but it does not appear large-scale studies have been done that have determined that those with autistic spectrum are more likely to experience migraines. However, migraines are so common in general and they are certainly not less likely to occur in those with autism that the occurrence of the two is not surprising."
