Hi everyone

Hello fellow Aspies. I'm kind of new here, I've been here before but I decided to create a new account and re-introduce myself.
So about me... I'm 22, and I have HFA/Aspergers. I got diagnosed at the age of 4. I live in a care home for people with autism. The past 4-5 years have been a particular struggle with severe obsessive thoughts but I'm slowly getting there.
I'm a student (as of next week). I'm studying Animation and Illustration (BTEC Level 3). As you can see I love being creative. I also love writing and have self published a short novel. I won't self promote myself at this point but if you want more info I will be happy to let you know. I am hoping to write more books including my life story.
I'm also currently in the process of setting up a magazine for people with ASDs, and I really need submissions for the first issue so if anyone has any ideas please contact me [by private message].
Yes I am doing a lot but it really helps distract me from my destructive thoughts, which I will explain about at a later date if anyone wants to know.
Looking forward to making some friends here!

Nice to have you here, Asten. Welcome aboard! Studying something you enjoy helps stimulate obsessive thoughts, for sure. I'm currently doing a BTEC Level 3 course in art and design. Good luck with your studies and congratulations on being published.
