Getting a mini trampoline

When I was a child I loved swinging and spinning on a tire swing. Still do!

After some research on a Sensory Diet I decided the mini-trampoline was my best bet for apartment living in a climate with a lot of snow and cold weather. I'll be on the first floor so it shouldn't bother the neighbors.

Since I can't have a swing at this point...

Any thoughts? Anyone use one to keep their sensory issues in check? Health things?

It's supposed to be great for my immune system, too.
I've never heard of a sensory diet, but it sounds helpful - off to google it now!

Would a therapy ball to sit on and bounce do the trick? Or, do you need the proprioception in your feet and ankles? I find these very soothing.

Mmmmm, several years ago I actually used one of those big balls as my office chair. I really enjoyed dancing to my music on it (I had an office to myself at the time.)

However, after a few years, it burst out from under me and dumped me on the floor :) Didn't hurt me, but can't quite trust them now :) However, I think that's a very good idea for people; very reasonable cost, and just replace them every year or so to prevent them doing that. Mine was like five years old.
