Does anyone associate numbers with specific colors?

No, I haven't. I've always had a fascination with numbers but never have I associated them with colors.

i havent really thought about it, but yeah.
3 is green.
2 is red
1 is yellow
4 is blue
8 is purple
7 i always thought of as gold

Yes but only some numbers and also some letters too.

7 and C are always yellow, dark blue for 3, red for W ect.

From resistors (in my electronics training),
0. black
  1. brown
  2. red
  3. orange
  4. yellow
  5. green
  6. blue
  7. purple
  8. gray
  9. white
I have variations of the above for describing hair & skin color in my figure collection.
