I put 'other' because While I don't "watch or download" porn I often read smutty fiction which is a type of porn, just not visual. I have also watched a bit of porn in the past out of curiosity and found it very boring.

"IMO Porn is for sad people who don't "get any" from their partners." << Well that's a rather silly opinion. Plenty of sexually active people watch porn. Some couples watch porn together as a part of their sexual activities. It is not purely the reserve of horny teenaged boys and sexually frustrated middle-aged men, don't pay attention to the stereotypes.

I voted 'no' because what little porn I have seen was patently silly and unrealistic, and seemed a total waste of time. Real world sex with my wife is way more fun and intellectually, emotionally and physically satisfying.

There are different kinds of porn also. There are some very fascinating, unique, and surprising extremes within the Fetish world. Some people watch that kind because they will never engage in that sort of behavior (but are curious), or because it’s too weird, too dangerous, or unsafe, and it’s tilltilating to observe. There is no one kind of porn, but I assume most people here are discussing “vanilla” porn.

I'm neither qualified, nor competent to answer why anyone else might or might not like any form of porn, nor interested in judging those who have a differing opinion than mine.

What I was doing was answering the specific question that was being asked here - namely 'Do you watch or download Porn online?'. Why anyone might want to answer that question for other people is beyond me entirely, when that wasn't what was being asked.

And yes, I watch porn. I love watching porn. There's so much online that I'm interested in that you can't get from a partner.

This is the kind of honesty, and the kind of viewpoint, that I like to see when it comes to something like this. I mean, if someone doesnt watch it themselves, hey, that's fine, whatever. There's nothing wrong with that viewpoint. But so many belittle others over it, as if viewing porn somehow makes a person bad, or somehow diminishes them. I freaking hate that view. There's nothing wrong with liking this stuff, and kudos to you for being open about it.

I'll be open about it too, as I usually tend to be. Yeah, I look at porn. Though my tastes tend to be very, very tame. Usually I just want to see people naked (well, those I consider attractive anyway).

But, I go further than that also, probably further than anyone else in this thread. I dont just look at pics... I take photos of myself as well. Not censored or hiding anything (and yeah, my face is visible too). I show them off online on appropriate sites, or to anyone that asks to see them (which happens at random intervals, in random places). I dont hesitate to admit to this.

I know alot of people... quite a few... will look down on me for that. But again, I dont see the problem here. It's alot of fun to do, it's arousing, and it's not like it hurts anyone. I figure, I have something unique to offer with this sort of thing; I'm male, but have a quite feminine appearance even without clothes on. That's bloody rare when it comes to pics like this (most guys going for a very masculine look), so I figured, I might appeal to those with different tastes. If I can give someone pleasure from doing this... that's a win, in my book, no matter how "naughty" it might be. And yeah, the reactions to these photos are... well, "positive" doesnt quite cover it, I'll put it that way. I have fun with it, they enjoy looking, and I love the responses I get... it's a win-win situation, everyone involved is happy.

And I figure... why should I have any shame over this? What, exactly, is wrong about doing that? I'm an adult, I can do what I want, and unlike half of our stupid society, I dont try to pretend that I dont have a sexual side (even if I have zero interest in actual relationships). Doing what I do is a way to explore that and have fun with it while giving others some fun as well. And while not having to get physically close to anyone. I've always had issues with physical contact, but hey, that's fine.

It's depressing, really, that so many would think less of me because of that. But what makes it extra stupid is that alot of those very same people will secretly look at porn of some sort at times... they just wont admit to it. THAT, to me, is the part that is "pathetic".

I haaaaaaate the stigmas that society has placed on this. I really do. It just seems wrong to me. The internet though, at least, is a place where more people tend to be accepting of it. But the stigma is still always there, and probably not going away anytime soon. Honestly I hate society in general, and this is just one of many reasons.

There, that's my own admission. If anyone doesnt like it, well, bloody tough.

Switch viewing porn with drinking beer. See? Poleaxed.

Danger.

A less savoury person than I would ask to see them. This is a family person, we don't have that kind of thinking here.

I dont know what "poleaxed" means, not for certain, though I am going to try to guess. Granted, I dont know what lots of things mean.

Thinking logically (or attempting to) about the potential meaning though, it could be related to the idea of hypocracy, is that correct? I have proclaimed a dislike of alcohol many times in many places. However, as I've already said, there's nothing wrong with differing viewpoints. There are people in my life who definitely drink, but I dont think less of them for that at all. I simply dont want to be around when the act is being performed. It's the "thinking less of someone" bit that I have a true problem with and tend to rail against. Just because someone performs an activity I dont like, doesnt make me like them less. And that's the way I wish people would see something like this.

As for the second bit, I never have any problem with someone asking to see them. Hell, it's happened on a certain other forum that alot of us are familiar with. People often try to hide their real nature, and that absolutely includes when they're on places like this. It's impossible to truly know someone by limited interaction in a place like this... people can surprise you, yeah? Which is a whole other topic, really. And an interesting one I've often pondered. But that is for another day.

I didn't expect to get on this topic so soon since entering the forum (yestarday) but oh well: I ocasionally google certain types of porn... but way more often I DO porn, because I'm a camgirl and I make money of getting my clothes off on the internet. I sell pictures, videos and I've live streamed. Guess you weren't expecting that.

I don't see my clients as desperate or anything like that. Many actually want my videos to watch along with their partners. While I agree there's many cases where porn is violent, objectifying, either in the material itself or for the performers during the filming process, I don't think there's anything wrong with adult content and entertainment within itself, It's just another way of exploring pleasure and sexual sensations.

A strange assumption, that everyone must be sad about such a thing.

I've never had a relationship myself. But then, I also actively avoid them. People are nasty. Just nasty. Why in the numerous hells would I want to get physically CLOSE to one? I find that rather gross. I dont even like dealing with people in normal conversations, so... yeah, the idea of doing "things" with someone is... rather alarming. And the idea of a full-fledged relationship is utterly beyond my understanding. I dont see the point/appeal.

Frankly, I dont see the problem with that. And I doubt I'm the only one that thinks that way.

I totally agree that most people tend to be rotten and nasty.

LONG STORY SHORT

It's not you, it's them.

You are merely an “exhibitionist.” I hope that someday your online presence doesn’t harm you as for job applications, or in finding a significant other (but it could). I always worry that my online presence as a sex worker a few decades back won’t come destroy my normal regular life now.

I dont work a job and never will again, and have zero interest in a relationship of any sort.

So it all works for me.

Alas, I have no idea what "pornography" is, so I cannot say if I see it or not--- let alone watch it. Before one can answer the question, one must define what "porn" is: good luck on that: after 500 years of trying to regulate "porn," humanity is still not anywhere closer to knowing what "porn" is.

As for romance and sex, I avoid all hint of such in books, movies, web sites., etc.
Porn is viewing sex or nudity after the event for the sole purpose of gratification

What a hot mess of a discussion.

I have watched a little bit of porn, but haven't really gotten the point of it. I mean, the point is rather obvious, but I prefer real experiece, or my own imagination.

I do like artful erotic photos, drawings, paintings. I have enjoyed some well written sex scenes in books, but I don't seek any of it out. I like being suprised by it.

Also, I don't harbor any negative feelings towards those who regularly consume porn.
