Alcohol

Ha, this reminds me of something. A while ago, I had made the observation that I actually do a little better with one or two shots in me. So what did I do? A really dumb experiment.

Figuring my elimination rate for alcohol was 1 drink per hour, I figured that if I had one shot every hour on the hour I could keep that mild buzz going that I was looking for.

3 weeks and about 50 gallons of vodka later, I realized I had been drunk off my ass the entire time. So I scrapped my plans to use a powdered alcohol solution in a trans-dermal patch in order to deliver a controlled dose of alcohol and spent the next week shaking like a bumble ball getting over it.

Dumb.

Generally I am not a drinker and if I ever end up in situations that warrant drinking I tend to have an excuse not to drink such as "I'm up early in the morning" or "I'm driving".

I mainly drink on special occasions, where I drink as little as possible. I seem to really feel the effects of alcohol. I get drunk quite easily compared to those around me, I'm not sure if that it's just me or that I don't drink enough to build up a tolerance.

Being an Aussie..drinking is kind of part of our culture lol... I was taught how to drink responsibly at age 14 by my dad... which is quite common here.. i loves to drink, gives me confidence and takes all the stresses away... but never alone..alcohol and alone thinks are bad.

My favourite Drinks are Coronas with salt dipped limes, Dry beers mostly, Rum, Sweet wines...basically all of it lol

Got sick of it by about 20. I enjoy a cold beer after a hot day at work, crave, you might say, but I can't see wasting the money on piss. I down about 10 beers a year.

Drunk people piss me off and annoy me to no end. I avoid them as they are obnoxious and seem like losers to me when I'm around them. But, I don't get high one bit, either.

Yeah, being from Canada, drinking is part of our culture too lol, did you know we actually beat the US in alcohol consumption? You guys beat us Canadians though, although I'd LOVE to visit Australia before I die.

It is a great place but a do not visit Canberra. I live here and it is crap. The rest of Australia is pretty bloody good.

But can't you grow 1 Marijuana plant in Canberra? I heard that like 15 years ago though
Yup. The crazier thing though is that Prostitution and such is legal BUT only in certain zoned suburbs one of those suburbs is a place called Fyshwick. Now Fyshwick because of that same zoning is also home to Car yards and furniture shops and the like. VERY popular.
When I first came to Canberra, I spun out because on a Saturday families would be walking past the Porn store and Brothel to get to the Furniture store and then past the Gentleman's club on the way to the car yard and such. It is really odd. But it is kind of accepted.
