    In fairness... I totally agree with you (so maybe not just aspie) I can't listen, attentively, to two people talking at the same time..... It's just annoying... Like, 'can't you see me talking to someone on the phone....?'

    Yes....!!! My aspie partner, rarely replies the first time if I ask him something... He says he needs time to think.... It was frustrating at first.... But now, if it's something important , I place my hand on his arm - then ask... This gives him time to come out (of whatever thought he's in)...

    You see things exactly as my partner does... I would hate to think he'd do that..... I think I need to toughen up... As my son can be a bit 'manipulative'.... So it's wise to keep the distance-for just now.....
