    Oddly specific fears (or interests) in childhood

    I was terrified of drying my hair if there was no one in the room. I didn't like the loud noise next to my head, it still freaks me out so I try to leave my hair in a towel for as long as possible to shorten the time the hairdryer is on. I'm not sure why someone else being in the room eased my fear.

    I'm also struggling with that. I try to ask people more questions about themselves to avoid directing conversations back at myself or my topics of interest, but am often unsure if they're 'normal' questions because I just feel really fake whenever I try.
