Is forgetting a lot an Aspie trait?

Oh yes, Game of Thrones is a nightmare for me - I'm useless at tracking who's done what to whom. It's all so confusing and I miss out on a good 60-70% of the story. My short term memory is shockingly bad as well, and I can be very iratic. I'll try and make sure do one thing at a time and...

Does anyone find advertising to be really stupid?

I like to think I'm one of the worst people to advertise to. I don't get suckered in to these sorts of things, I make decisions usually through careful research and by reviews. I have my preferred brands but I'll deviate from them if reviews and features are elsewhere. Can't think of the last...

    Video games you're playing?

Really like the witcher. Wasn't expecting to like it but it stuck and spent 40+ hours on it. I'm doing the division at the moment but I'm a bit disappointed by it.

    Outlook On Life

Thanks for sharing - without throwing labels around that does sound like depression, not that knowing that necessarily fixes anything. I know the feeling of social exclusion, you feel you miss out on a lot of things just because "it's just you". Being an aspie comes with this to some degree..

    How do you normally dress?

Learn something new every day.. Is there any traditional cowboys left? Living off the land..

    How do you normally dress?

I just did a Google and realized it's a brand of fat, rather than the style - whoopsie!

    How do you normally dress?

Would love to see a picture of your Stetson and your boots. I'm from the UK so these things are pretty rare here.

    How do you normally dress?

I usually dress for comfort, as I'm far from skinny. T shirt and jeans most days and a shirt and trousers for when I'm out with customers. I go through cycles of colorful and subdued phases. I'm going through a dark phase at the moment and wearing lots of black. Absolutely love my trainers...

    What are your current obsessions?

I'm gonna have to look that up! I was watching some YouTube videos about one in Atlantic city state hall or something. It has like 32,000 pipes. Crazy!

If real men can't hit women, why women can hit men?

Oh I agree, I'm not condoning violence. I never started a fight, I just wanted to be left alone. But at the time I didn't understand these concepts, these are things I learned as an adult. Social normals that aren't taught.

    Tradespeople?

Computer science is something I have a keen interest in too, I'd love to go to uni and learn it - unfortunately I left school with few academic qualifications so I've not much hope of doing this. The internet has changed a lot since its inception. But the key fundamentals are still there.

If real men can't hit women, why women can hit men?

Oooh this.. I feel out with basically my whole school because I saw everyone as equal. If a girl picked a fight with me, she got one. No one told me (ever!) That this isn't socially acceptable. Although I still disagree and believe in total equality. You should give as good as you get.

    Tradespeople?

I hear that. I'm lucky, my career was routed in an interest in IT. In true teenage arrogance I said I wanted to learn IT networking because it was the piece of the puzzle I didn't understand. It's turned out really well, but my mind keeps telling me to move on and learn something else I'm...

    What are your current obsessions?

One of my very old special interests has raised it's head recently, after spending some time with a musically-minded friend. I genuinely think this is the only place I'd ever say this.. pipe organs. I can't play much myself, can't read music.. but I just love them. The sound.. the beauty of the...

    Outlook On Life

I'm curious to know what people's general outlook on life is, very high level - beit positive or negative. I've come to realise over the last few years that I'm a very positive person, I rarely get angry and I'm more willing to just accept (most) things for what they are. But with this...
