Has Anyone Else Suffered From Discrimination At Work?

My employment problems are still ongoing. Just had yet another stressful meeting where they tried to get me to go back to work in the shared office that I found so stressful due to constant sensory overload. They thought that because I am undertaking CBT that this would cure my Asperger's!!!!

    HEALTH, FITNESS AND DIET

I started Body building/ Weight lifting about 10 weeks ago. I used to body build when I was in my 20's. I am shocked with how quick my muscles have responded. I have put 4" on my chest and 3/4" on my arms in that period! I have also lost quite a bit of latent body fat, yet gained nearly a stone...

How to "turn down the volume"?

I tend to block noise by listening to MP3's via ear buds. However when I need to communicate, for instance when I am out with my wife I use etymotic earplugs. They turn the volume of everything down without loosing any of the frequency range. They are particularly good at live gigs too

    Can aspies have learning problems?

I did very badly at school, despite the fact that I have an IQ of 148. I too didn't find out the reason for this until much later. The truth is that we Aspies learn differently to NT's. I find that I *Must* be interested in the subject matter to learn it. Then we all know how deep our knowledge...

I'm a bass player. By far the best bass I've played is the Sandberg VM4 I had custom built. It's the one in my profile pic. They hand-build them to your own spec. Well worth the money and sounds awesome
