    What do you think of animals?

    Do you talk to animals?

    I talk to my cat all the time. I don't feel as crazy as when I'm talking to myself (with no animals around). I often talk to the birds at the sanctuary where I volunteer, and they will sometimes talk back.

    What stage do you feel it's was the most difficult one; childhood, adolescence, or adulthood?

    I wish I'd gotten the diagnosis when I was a kid (I didn't mine until I was nearly 23), because then I wouldn't have had so many social problems in middle and high school. I had some friends, but I spent a lot of time holed up in my room doing schoolwork. And now I spend a lot of time holed up...

    problems with sensory overload on the job?

    Usually it's pretty quiet in my tiny office, though we're right next to the prep kitchen of a restaurant, so sometimes they'll turn on the TV and it's very loud and annoying. When my boss isn't around, I'll play music to drown it out.

    Running into people you know when you're out

    Sometimes I'm really happy to see people I haven't seen in awhile, but sometimes I'm in a rush & I don't want to talk to people. It really depends on my mood, who the person is, & where I am. I live in a small town, so I'm always running into people who I know, especially at the grocery store.

    Cute Animals

    This is me with one of my favorite birds at the sanctuary where I volunteer -- his name is Brandy; he's a cockatoo, and a very lovable one.

    True for me, sometimes. Though people so infrequently ask me to hang out that when they do, I usually say yes.

    Animals -- all kinds, really, though lately it's birds, because I volunteer at a bird rescue. Movies -- though not so much now that the Oscars are over. Music -- playing the flute, though usually only obsessed when I'm practicing or have band rehearsal Food -- certain foods, like peanut butter...

    I watched Big Hero 6 (on DVD); another highly entertaining, touching, & funny film from Disney.

    A list of suitable and unsuitable jobs

    I had trouble working in retail, even though I tried it several times; it's really about the customers, and I didn't want to help people find stuff. I just wanted to fold and organize clothes and get an employee discount (haha).

    What's your favorite bird?

    I volunteer at a bird rescue (sanctuary), so I love them all -- we have macaws, amazons, lovebirds, lorikeets, parakeets, cockatiels, cockatoos, & more! I don't currently have a bird of my own, but I hope to adopt one from there eventually. Here's me with my favorite umbrella cockatoo, Brandy:

    What are your feelings about Valentine's Day?

    I HATE Valentine's Day!! Why? Because I' m a 27-year-old female who -- I'm told -- is very good-looking, and I've never had a boyfriend. It's very depressing.
