I think poverty is the greatest deterrent to personal success. But after poverty, the biggest obstacle is the desire to have a coordinate effort for self-improvement in the Aspies.
With wealth, Bob Wright decided to try to cure his autistic grandchild. This is why we have (censored). What a pity. But this is even reflected in Aspies in rich families themselves, you know? Instead of finding out their gifts, they think they are, you know, faults!
But also with wealth, with tons of money, many more autistic people who have the interest in science can afford to pursue an academic career without regard to economic pressures. With wealth, a lot of Aspies can just write, draw or do animations. With wealth, many autistic people can build things and be Einsteins.
With economic considerations, I believe my own possible foray in whatever I like to do is limited not by my money, or even energy concerns as I buy supplements to boost my own energy levels, but rather how I manage to continue improve in whatever I am doing.
