I'm writing a book about what it's like

Blog details

I'm writing a book about what it's like to be a teen with high-functioning autism. It has helped me figure out how to explain some things about myself by expressing it through a third person story. Sometimes I feel like sharing parts of it, although no one really wants to hear it because they're all too interested in other random stuff and uninterested in whatever I'm doing (Not that I really care. Today I was writing during lunch and I had the whole table to myself. It was the most peace I've gotten in a while. It's either I write with just my own thoughts in the background, or I have trouble concentrating while everyone around me talks way too loudly about things I don't need to be hearing and stares right through me). Anyway, getting back on track. I'll probably just post a few paragraphs from my book every once in a while if I feel like it.
