Vampire Diaries and Emotions

Pella

I watch Vampire Diaries, and the show, vampires are very sensitive not only to sound and stuff like that (though that is more like a superpower to them), but also to emotions, whatever their traits were like in life it is heightened as a vampire. Sometimes it becomes too much for them so they shut off their humanity, their emotions. This made me think of how I am very sensitive emotionally, but I get to wear I can't handle it, that I want to shut it down, and there may be times where I do because things are so overwhelming. Because it can be so upsetting that people don't understand us and the bullying, sometimes we have to stop caring in order to survive.

Sorry I am having trouble thinking right now, so I don't really know how coherent that paragraph even is.
