It will pass, it's just something new to deal with. Remember that it's stressing for the puppy too, it needs a little support.

I forget too till I see other people get puppies. They are so cute, but hard at the start. I remember my puppy would eat the faces of my dolls at the beginning. It gets better as time passes.

I feel like I can't do it. We spent so much on this puppy and I just want to hide in bed all day.

Maybe if you look at it like this: that puppy was taken away from everything it knew and placed in a new building with new smells and new people and new everything. Maybe it's stressed and worried and maybe it needs you.

All of what you say is true, but my anxiety is just raging and all I want to do is hide from her.
I can't do anything. Everything is falling apart.

So hide for a little while, do some deep breathing, find quiet within and then return. You accepted a creature that you needs you now. Time to use your supports and resources so that you and the puppy can both get what you need. Your mind is catastrophizing because of anxiety. There are parts of this that will be hard, but it will not last forever and the puppy needs you now.

You say it feels like you can't do anything and that everything is falling apart - this shows you that it is anxiety talking... not reality. Deep breathing can get your logical mind working again. Puppies need lots of sleep - soon it will be time for a break when puppy needs a nap.
