    Athiests: What do you believe?

Not really. My best mate is Buddhist. My Daughter is Christian. I have a few Muslim mates. Used to be next door neighbours with a Wiccan. I do not find religion unto itself a bad thing nor something to rail against. I think Jesus was a very interesting character in history and certainly there...

Recent break-up with Aspie, looking for advice?

You are dating other people? You are hoping to bounce back to him at some stage? How do your dates feel about this, or do they not know? Are they therapy? Sounds REALLY messed up.

    Thoughts on beliefs

I think it would be very nice to have a belief in a God and someone to look after you when you are old and broken down and die. It is a lovely thought and much nicer than, "It stops and your body rots". It is what I believe though, nice or not.

Recent break-up with Aspie, looking for advice?

I am not on the attack. I am giving my reading of things. I clearly misunderstood what happened and I apologised because it seems the fight was not as bad as what it seemed to be and that he had not withdrawn from you and that your pursuit of him was not of any real consequence. So I misread and...

Recent break-up with Aspie, looking for advice?

You didn't say horrible things? Great news. I must be mistaken. Then he did not withdraw from you and the events you mentioned did not happen. I am very glad this is the case. I must have misread the whole thing. I am glad you set me right. I am glad too that your friends have not been given a...

Recent break-up with Aspie, looking for advice?

You want things on your own terms. I get that. A relationship is about you supporting each other and you feel you support him and should not have to. If you are down to saying "What? I have to give emotional support? What about me?" Then probably better steering clear of all but suprrficial...

Recent break-up with Aspie, looking for advice?

I read this and it made perfect sense to me......from his perspective. Here is the thing and you may not perfectly like it but I HOPE you can understand it. To YOU this fight was over...who knows really...and of no real consequence and everyone fights and this was no real thing. YOU hurt HIM...

    Aspergers and Religion

I grew up in a non-religious household in a non-religious country. My mother and father were lapsed Catholics. Religion is not something I object to nor have I ever felt excluded or marginalised for my lack of religious beliefs. I have friends from all religious persuasions. My best mate is...

    Athiests: What do you believe?

I am an Australian Atheist. From what I understand that makes a big difference. Religion is not really a big thing here. It is seen as a personal, not public thing. Growing up I did not know where any religious buildings were, which of my acquaintances were religious or what people did in...
