Running Girl

Recently self-diagnosed, with confirmation from therapist. In recovery for addiction, and for eating disorders (both 12-step recovery programs). Work as RN, but hate, hate, hate it and struggle with it all the time. Mostly too scared and avoidant to pursue hypnotherapist work (I am a certified hypnotherapist)except for friends and family, and self-hypnosis. Struggle with making and keeping friends throughout my life. Struggle with social anxiety, and avoidant personality disorder as a result of the social anxiety. Struggle with Executive Function Deficit/ADD and feel like I missed so much of life while I tried so hard to 'just get stuff done' all day, every day. - and failing to every get enough stuff done. House a mess, mail a mess, car a mess, appointments a mess, phone call returning a mess.... Struggle with remembering things, with being late to everything, with disorganization, clutter, and anger outbursts and very low frustration-tolerance all my life, and being a 'ditz' in general. All of which I now know was executive function deficit and ASD. What I like is time to myself without stress or obligations (or is that another way of saying 'being in a coma'?) but when I do carve out time for myself, I like to run outside in nature where I live in the Poconos, veg on the beach, run on the beach, read, or create artwork or writing, and watch tv, too.
