    Pre Diagnosis

I agree it is a handicap... and people don't seem to get how hard it is, and that is almost as frustrating as the problems themselves.

    Surviving uni/college with AS?

the type of people in your classes may be due to the type of course you are taking, one of my old elementary school friends took fashion, and I know exactly what type of girl she is, and most of the people in her class too. They are not nice people... This is not the rule btw, some are excellent...

    con advice?

I dunno about conventions in your area, but prepare for lots of hugs! I fit in more at conventions than anywhere else. You can completely be yourself and don't have to worry about social does or do nots, the more random the better actually! Everyone is like omg I love you! you are my new best...

    Pre Diagnosis

Before you were diagnosed, what did you blame your aspergers sypmtoms on? These are mine: ~Sensory Problems I used to think i had a phobia of touch. I called myself "untouch friendly" ~Social Awkwardness I used to be very very quiet, but after being heavily bullied 8th grade found a...

    Aspergers and Fear

this made me think of santa clause... o_O I can just imagine someone with this fear being terrified of santa. Interesting thought.... It sounds like a phobia, worsened by aspergers. Over imaginative, pervasive and excessive thoughts. Also aspergers tends to go hand in hand with a ton of anxiety...

    What are your sensory issues?

Before learning about aspergers and sensory issues I labeled myself "non touch friendly". I don't like people touching me. I can touch them, but they better watch out if they try to touch me... In highschool this guy decided to come up behind me and pick me up. I reacted. His nuts hurt...

    Emotional Meltdowns

Have never had a meltdown, I have mutism and shut downs. I can't act, moving is hard, I get reduced vision, (the edges go black). Online though, i still get the ability to type, so I tend to online rage at people. It is my one way to communicate how rotten I feel. I sometimes go overboard... I...

    My Story.

Thank you =3 and glad to hear another person who had the same problems with being bullied and not able to really say anything... to be honest i am quite interested to hear from other aspies if they also had a similar problem in their inability to react to the wrongdoings done onto them.

    How Did You Become Diagnosed?

I wish i had a diagnosis... I had a psych eval when i was younger, to determine if i had a problem, the results were yes, but not what, no one bothered with "what" and I have no idea why they would bother to find if there was something wrong if they were not planning on diagnosing what. =/

    Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder

Interesting, i always thought i was this way from nurture, my dad is the same way and well he took care of me since i was 2, and shared his bad habits with me! XD

    Introducing Myself

Hello! That is something I don't actually have for aspergers... I wasn't friends with older kids or adults, i was friends with younger ones. They were simpler. I didn't really talk at all though... I was the really strong silent type.

    My Story.

Hello, I am Ruire. =] I am a self diagnosed aspie, and aiming to try and see a psychologist, to see what they think. I first got put on the "special bus" when i was in kindergarten, after a little incident... All the kindergarteners had a "bus buddy" that was in the highest grade, and were...
