Does anyone else feel like they should just not be on Facebook?

I don't use Facebook, but I have an account. For some reason it really affects me when I see someone deleted his account, because it is often the only contact I had...but I get why one would want to delete )I just don't go there as often anymore and hardly post anything)

    New Friends?

Hello, people, I guess it's a bit weird but that's okay. I am looking to make new friendships with friendly people, preferably women. I am 29, getting married this summer, moving to a different country, finished university, got a new job recently...all these changes are great I suppose, but...

Invading "Private Space" in A Public Setting

I hate when people invade my public space, for example talk to me and put their face really close to mine as if I would hear them better like that....or touch me while talking ugh....but two seats away is fine haha I would not worry about that. I´ve thought long about this topic, the public...

    An Upsetting Machine

It would be called Facebook and show all your friends so happy while you are not. Quite upsetting.

    Memory issues

I forget things that are irrelevant to me in way that even scares me. Like movies or songs...I have to watch and listen to it over and over again in order to remember that I know it. However if I am interested for some reason I can recall things like nobody else. I am 29 but it is getting worse...

    Laughing at 'the wrong time'

I laugh a lot in movies, for example Game of Thrones...there was only one scene I did not find funny. I think it is a coping mechanism at times, not to let the too sad or scary things touch me, unless it is absolutely necessary, for example, in order to feel empathy. But I don't want to feel sad...

Being Bilingual may help Autistic Children, says new study

I have heard of people changing their personality depending on the language they are speaking. I guess it is kinda true for me, I feel different about certain things depending on the language. So it makes sense that learning a second language might help children with ASD

The Art of the Compliment and the Social Rules Governing them

I love this thread (sincerely)! I need to think about a proper rely, but I am already practicing the fine art of compliments. Did anyone notice that if you add "sincerely" to the compliment it comes across as less sincere? Or no?

    Bizarre Involuntary Facial Expressions

I make really weird faces when I am concentrated, like playing the piano. It is especially awful during concerts, I have to focus on facial expressions rather than on what I am playing. My fiance makes fun of me, but in a friendly way. I think it is okay to be weird sometimes, it shouldnt bother...

    Cheer up!

I laughed together with the people of the first video, interesting experiment! I don't like fart jokes, and the other two I was just concerned about the little hamsters and the lungs of this guy behind the car (I am not sure why it would be funny anyways) I would find interesting to ask NTs...

What would your perfect childhood look like?

This is such an interesting idea, to be a more evolved self....to be honest, I think I would struggle even if I was my current self back then, I am still not evolved enough to handle this!!! But it would have been much easier. And ironically, I would not change anything, as many mentioned in...
