    Clothing that you miss wearing

:( That's a bummer. I love Crocs too. I'll be 52 and I wear them all the time...especially the lined ones in the winter. Had to take my son to a podiatrist 2 years ago...figured I would check out what shoes foot doctors wore while I was there. Because hey, they're in the foot business.:D He...

PDD-NOS(A-Typ), Asperger's, PDA, HFA or Is It? Parenting Perspective

Honestly I'm beginning to think every 5-10 years they re-name stuff by throwing darts at a board full of names.

12 y.o. child sleeps with dive fins on his feet

At least he sleeps. Mine at that age had the hardest time. Still does some nights and he's 19 now. Sounds harmless, and probably something he will soon enough grow out of, only for it to become a wonderful memory for you two to share the tales of when you both are older.:)

    I hate grocery stores.

I probably would have given her an evil smile and said...yes, as a matter of fact, I do. ;) There's nothing wrong with you, things like this used to bother me quite a bit and shake me up also, my mom used to laugh and tell me just hang in there until you get older, you'll get tougher. I hit...

Best new video game system- looking for opinions

What are some of their favorite games? That's the big question. The selection between consoles can be pretty different, the Nintendo though is geared more towards the younger set. The Switch is a lot of fun and versatile it works as both a handheld system and can be docked to the tv. The...

    Visiting other people's homes

Time, lots and lots of time. ...and that being said truth is I'm never at 100% until I'm home alone. With my son it's close, but he's ADHD also, so it's still tough some days. I didn't leave home until around 30, and then I bounced back a couple of times.

Stumbling though my relationship like a bull in a china shop

I would sit down and seriously evaluate what I wanted from this relationship. If you're looking for a friend to hang out with and someone just to have fun with this might be fine...but if your picture includes something more serious in the future be aware that it might be a long struggle or...

    Visiting other people's homes

I can't relax and be myself until I'm home. I'd rather stay in a hotel, spend the day visiting, then come back to the room and decompress. Many people do the same, if you can swing it, you might want to consider it. I think it takes some of the pressure off both the guest and the host and can...

So today I had a meltdown

Sounds like you still handled it pretty well, and you knew you needed to remove yourself from the situation before anyone was nuked in the fallout. ;) Yep, some days are just like that, if I'm not feeling really good to begin with, if I didn't sleep well, if I had a really stressful day before...

    Comedians?

For the most part I enjoy them. Depends on the comedian though. Stephen Wright was always on of my favorites. "For my birthday I got a humidifier and a de-humidifier...I put them in the same room and let them fight it out..."

    Cherished Memories

When I was little my father worked as a mechanic on a flood control dam. One of his jobs besides fixing things and maintaining the hydraulic systems that ran the gates was plowing the 2-3 mile stretch of access road through the park that led to the dam during the winter. Every night during a...

Last thing that made you think or say"WTH?!"

Oreo released two new flavors of cookies for customers in China. Hot Chicken Wings and Wasabi. Had a definite WTH moment here when I read that.

    Being "mothered" by people

51 and still getting that. :p Meh, it's okay though, I tend not to get offended by much of anything really. I always thought it could be because of my height too. I'm short, about 5' 1"....but it could be because when I'm out in public I'm always a little freaked out like a deer in the...

    Who else keeps computer muted?

Always muted. I remember when my son was little and it seemed like every relative would buy him toys that beeped, and played music...and they were sooo LOUD. I would sit there at night with a screwdriver and take the backs off and tape over the speaker grills from the inside to dull the...
