    Other behaviors/conditions associated with AS

    I pick at everything. Clothing, skin, paint, furniture, pets, whatever. Anything dangling must go. I think it's a form of self-soothing, as it does seem to get worse when I'm stressed. As a teen, I would repeatedly scrape most of the skin off of my nose, until I was bleeding pretty badly...

    Is it crazy to not want to see a therapist?

    I can totally understand not wanting to go. Seeing a professional kinda makes you officially "broken", doesn't it? It makes you feel like you really can't get on by yourself and you have to ask for help. Most of the time one-on-one therapy is useless, unless there's something you simply need...

    Help

    I had an English teacher kick me from her class because I kept correcting her grammar on the worksheets. Sometimes it's better to switch classes.
