    Stimming

As my stim I like to chew and particularly chew gum (because of the peppermint flavour). They've discontinued my brand of chewing gum and revamped it with new ingredients. This new one makes me feel really sick but I can't cope with my everyday anxiety without chewing gum so what else can I chew...

    Gender in Writing

I tested as a male but I'm actually female. Maybe it's the lack of emotion/evocative language? I'm not really sure

    Mirror-touch synesthesia

I don't know if this is the same thing... Maybe someone can help me out. When I watch someone I start to feel what they are experiencing. If I see two people hugging I automatically tense my body and clench my jaw. If I see someone being sick I get the same physical sensations and have to look...

Do you think that you enjoy music more than NTs?

I don't know about music in general but specific songs I feel I appreciate more than NT's like some music really "speaks" to me (figuratively). I just feel this intense connection between me and the song and then I listen to it on repeat constantly until I'm finally sick of it

    Do you have the Power?

This might sound weird but I really think I can tell almost immediately wether someone has aspergers/another form of autism or not. I'm usually not good at reading people's behaviours or body language but I can almost always spot a fellow aspie. There's just something special/different about us...

    Book for my dad?

Hi, so my dad really doesn't understand the whole ASD thing and so we find it quite hard to get along. Can someone suggest a book I could suggest he reads about it?

How to minimise my obsession with gum?

I've chewed it constantly for 2 years now and can't function without it. It's got aspartame in it which is pretty controversial so I'm trying to cut back. I really like the peppermint taste when you first chew on a piece of gum which is why I go through so many a day. Can someone suggest how I...

    YouTube channels?

Do any of you have YouTube channels to specifically make videos on aspergers? I made one but I think it's kind of grown into a channel just about me? Are there any topics I could discuss that would be more general? Here's the link if anyone is at all interesested Anja Melissa - YouTube
