DNA Test

I've never done a DNA genealogy test but have been told all my life and have seen extensive family documentation that I undoubtedly am of northern European descent. A branch of our family on my father's side has been traced back to the 1540's when they immigrated from Austria to Germany. I think my ancestral family was either Jewish and immigrated to Germany to escape Austrian antisemitism or was protestant and escaped the Catholic persecution of Austrian protestants, after Martin Luther nailed his thesis to a church door in Germany. It's fun to speculate about it anyway.

My mother's side of the family has a lot of Scandinavian ancestry and some Scottish and Irish ancestors. I got the wavy blond hair, pale skin and green eyes.
