  • Why has it taken so long for me to get around to responding to all my profile posts?! I love you all, I promise. :)
posting on here is pointless. trying to talk to nt people is bad enough but autistic people are so much worse. won't be logging back in or coming back to this site

No, because I don't want to make assumptions, or to single out any one member if at all possible. I'm sorry you have decided to leave, but your decision is your decision. It is my job to help things run smoothly here, which means I and the other staff have to make hard decisions, sometimes on the fly.
did not intend for that last thread to become a religious debate and didn't know the topic rules, sorry about that. originally honestly wanted to know if we could debunk some notions and clear up why those are hated... maybe a moderator start that kind of discussion?
Will all of this come to a head and explode? If so, when? (Feeling good for the moment right now, at least.)
Hi Wyv. Just a note to let you know that I'm thinking of you & hoping your brother is doing better.

Thank you, Tia. Everyone in my life (offline and on) has been super, mind-blowingly supportive and helpful.
Sending healing and warm thoughts your way. Thinking about you during this difficult time.

Thank you. I've not been on much lately other than to check messages and such. Always happy to hear from you. :) Feel free to drop me a line anytime.
Hi, I was just admiring your profile pic and was wondering if you drew it your self?

Thanks, but I did not! It is from a wonderful children's book by Catherynne Valente, "The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making."
Hi, sorry to bother you, i just didn't know where i could make a suggestion about something. I think it would be a good thing to put an section about women on the spectrum as a topic of discussion on the forum, cause it would be good to support women when they first come to AC, cause you know, sometimes the traits are different for girls and women. Thank you for your attention.
hihi. I haven't seen you around much lately- but did today briefly. I've been here at whacky hours. [ANYWAY] I just wanted to say hi- maybe see how the whole season change thing is treating you? I just remembered that's a thing and might be part of what's going on with me lately. I had forgotten since I commented on your last status! Hope things are going ok. :]
Doc says my mood swings during the Spring and Fall are par for the course when you're bipolar. Makes perfect sense; glad he confirmed it.
Thinking about offering my co-worker to help tutor her second-grade daughter. Should I?

Bit late maybe, but I used to tutor a now ex-gf's kid (4th - 6th grade). Math, history, geography, Dutch... Was a great experience; fond memories. But the kid was great, a lot depends on that too. Results may vary.
