An autism roadshow is to begin in Slough on Friday (March 27) in a bid to raise awareness about the condition as part of World Autism Awareness Week.
Slough Borough Council and the Autism Slough Partnership Board (ASPB) will be out and about sharing information about the Autism Spectrum Condition and talking to people who want to know more.
Aside from information about the condition it is hoped the roadshow will also offer people information on how they can support people with Autism.
The Slough Autism Awareness Roadshow will be at the following venues:
“We want to encourage people to find out the facts, and what they can do to help involve those with autism into the local community, into employment and towards having fulfilling and rewarding lives.”
World Autism Awareness Week (WAAW) is all about doing something to stand out for autism and encourages people to support raising autism awareness, promote autism acceptance and talk about Autism so more people have a better understanding of the condition.
